Plan a Visit

Travel Back in Time & Around the World

Explore a world of wonder—spanning culture, history, space, wildlife, and the sciences at HMNS.
The Observatory is open to the public for stargazing on Saturday nights. We also offer daytime visits for field trips, private group Friday night visits, and Expedition Center space missions for team-building or family fun!

Stargazing tickets are offered on a timed basis, and must be purchased in advance via our online box office. Field trips, group visits and missions require booking in advance by emailing observatory@hmns.org. Tickets are not available onsite.

A reminder email, with parking and check-in instructions, will be sent to the email address on file. Access inside the domes and viewing through telescope eyepieces is subject to availability and weather. Ticket holders will be contacted in the event of cancelation due to rain.
